MCUG at Wireless and Mobile Expo

After MCUG Forum 2009
If you attended Forum 2009 as a delegate or speaker then Thank You. We hope you enjoyed the event. We are analysing the delegate feedback forms, which are very positive, and contain many good suggestions. We have recently contacted attendees with details as to how to download copies of the speaker presentations . Three of our exhibitors have already reserved stands for Forum 2010! Southern Water Scoops National Mobile Data Award
FDCS wins! MCUG members Southern Water, have secured the prestigious Utility Week award for their FDCS (Field Data Capture System) which supports their large mobile workforce with essential tools including Work Management, Location and Forms all closely integrated on a single device. Martin Gooch of Southern Water commented that 'the team were extremely proud to have been selected as winners'. Southern Water has a long history of pioneering and innovative use of mobile IT with the workforce, so it is very fitting that they have achieved public recognition.The Utility Week award web site has full details.
MCUG clinic at Service Management 2008
Ted Aksamit of Mott MacDonald and Stuart Pass of Intel were two of our consultants at our clinic offering free advice to event visitors. Through the NEC based event a team of MCUG volunteer advisors were kept busy with a vast range of questions.
Equipment Exchange
At MCUG we realise that supporting mature mobile systems can be a headache. You may run short of older compatible equipment needed to extend the system life. Conversley - Are you planning to replace mobile equipment in the next few months which still has useful life left in it?
